Uniform

Atlantis Beach Baptist College has established a uniform code which states that all students who attend the college will be required to wear college uniform. This contributes to:

  • the fostering and enhancement of the public image of the college.
  • improving morale, team spirit and pride in the college.
  • ensuring that students are safely dressed for college activities.
  • encouraging equity among students, reducing rivalry.
  • identifying non-college children on campus.

All children are required to wear the college uniform in a manner which is a credit to the student and the college. The college skirt must be worn no shorter than just above the knee.

All items of the college uniform are available through the college, except for footwear.

Students are to wear their sports uniform when they have Physical Education, Sport, Fitness or Drama timetabled.

Students in the Early Learning Centre (K/PP) wear their uniform each day.

We seek to encourage a high standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene, and neat appearance at all times. All children are required to wear the college uniform in a manner which is a credit to the student and the college.

Second-hand Uniforms

Atlantis Beach Baptist College is conscious of the need to provide an efficient process for families to be able to buy and sell their uniforms. Second-hand uniforms can be bought and sold through the Sustainable School Shop website.

Please send spare underwear, shorts and a top to school each day.

Only in extenuating circumstances will a student be excused for not being correctly attired and a written parental explanation must be presented to the Principal.

Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly labelled.

Bags

  • A college back pack is compulsory
  • Bags must be kept in good condition and not covered in graffiti
  • Unsatisfactory bags will need to be replaced
  • Students should have a completed name tag on their bag.
